Scott Dixon

Driver, Chip Ganassi Racing

Six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES Champion and 2008 Indianapolis 500 Winner Scott Dixon returns to Chip Ganassi Racing for his 25th season, continuing with the longest tenure for a driver in team history. This will be Dixon’s 26th season racing in INDYCAR.

Dixon has 59 career wins, second in series history behind only A.J. Foyt (67). His six championships are also the second-most, trailing only Foyt (seven). Dixon set the all-time record for INDYCAR starts in 2025 at the Indianapolis 500.

The Iceman produced yet another impressive season in 2025. He won the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, and finished third in the championship, a jump up from sixth in 2024. His Mid-Ohio triumph meant he won a race for the 21st consecutive season and the 23rd season overall. That extended his series records in both categories.

Officially Sir Scott Dixon, the New Zealand Native became part of British Commonwealth royalty when he was honored with knighthood on Dec. 30, 2025, as part of King Charles III’s New Years Honors.

Dixon has also made a name for himself in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, winning the Rolex 24 At Daytona in 2006, 2015, 2018 and 2020. In 2023, he finished on the podium at the 24 Hours of Daytona and later finished P4 in overall competition at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Away from the track, Dixon enjoys spending time with his wife, Emma, and children, Poppy, Tilly and Kit.
