CGRT SUPPORTS THE US OLYMPIC COMMITTEE

 

Chip Ganassi Racing Teams Supports the U.S. Olympic Committee and the “Raise Our Flag”  

Kimball, McMurray, Pruett and Rahal join CGRT in their commitment to Team USA

 

CONCORD, N.C. (July 3, 2012) – In honor of our nation’s Independence Day celebration tomorrow, Chip Ganassi Racing Teams (CGRT) announced today that they will help support the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and their “Raise Our Flag” campaign, an official United States Olympic fundraising program that helps provide housing, training and equipment for America’s elite athletes preparing for the Olympic Games.

 

Along with the team, all four American CGRT drivers will also support the USOC and the “Raise Our Flag” campaign by donating a stitch in America’s flag for the 2012 Olympic Games in London and encouraging fans to support Team USA through respective social media platforms. The participating CGRT drivers include:

Unlike athletes from other countries, the U.S. Olympic Team receives no government funding and relies on the support of individual donors and corporate sponsors. Donations to the “Raise Our Flag” program help fund America’s athletes as they prepare to represent the U.S. on the biggest stage in sports.
