TARGET MASCOT, BULLSEYE, AT SONOMA

For the first time in its 22-season history in racing, Target brought its famous mascot, Bullseye, to the racetrack in Sonoma, CA. Bullseye, a bull terrier who first began appearing in Target advertisements in 1999, participated in an autograph session, photo ops, and a dog walk with Target Chip Ganassi Racing drivers Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti.
With the bright red Target logo (applied with approved vegetable-based cosmetic paint) around her left eye, Bullseye was a huge success with the crowd. Sporting her own dog-fitted firesuit, Bullseye had “paw-printed” herocards to give out and was even interviewed by SPEED’s openwheel analyst Robin Miller.
