Dixon Offers Signed Helmet for New Zealand Christchurch Earthquake Auction

Scott Dixon of Target Chip Ganassi Racing recently pulled one of his racing helmets out of a personal collection to be auctioned as part of Radio Sport New Zealand’s Christchurch Earthquake Auction, raising funds for victims of the recent earthquake.
Dixon's IZOD IndyCar Series helmet is personally signed, and the Kiwi has even offered to make up the difference if the helmet sells for less than $10,000.
The current bid is over $6,500 and the bidding closes Tuesday March 8th.
2011 marks Dixon’s 10th year with Target Chip Ganassi Racing – the longest tenure for a driver in team history (1990-present).
The New Zealand native has 169 starts between the CART and IndyCar Series, producing 25 wins, 17 poles, 78 top-five and 119 top-10 finishes (2001-Present).
